Catchup, Wrap up, Throwup

I caught up on all my monthly block swaps, packaged and mailed all but one that needs international postage.  Of course I forgot to take pictures of all of them but here are some including some quilt alongs I'm working on.

Block Swap Adventure sneak peek for Cathy in Australia.  I accidentally deleted the full pick.

And to wrap up this swap here are all of the ones I received,

Here are all of the ones made for me in August by Let's Bee Together hive A.  One block  never found its way to me.

Here is block 3 for the Fat Quarter Star quilt along.

And , OK I think I need to be sick.  Sorry.

I think I'm going to bed.

A block for Bailey

October was Bailey's month for Let's Bee Together swap.
She wanted a Mod Mosaic block based on Oh, Fransson tutorial.  She sent some wonderful fabrics and the sashing strips precut.  I can see where it would take practice to make these blocks.  It is not an easy technique but fun!  Great way to use up scraps.

Half of the blocks that will be in the Star Trek quilt for my Dad.
It is my next project.  They were from a 1995 swap.  Can you name what they all are?

Quilt for a doggie

This is my neighbor Bailey saying hi to Kalli-cat through the door (ignore my feet).  Everyday when I come home Bailey greets me enthusiastically through his door with Hershey chiming in.  Bailey was a rescue dog that my neighbor Denise adopted and has worked with to calm his fears.  He still shakes near me some and does not like most men.  I was organizing my stash and found a fatqurter pack of dog prints from Joanns some one had given me as a gift.  As I dont have a dog(see Kalli above)  the fabric really isnt me.  So I decided to make this

a doggie quilt with extra batting layers.
I rubbed it all over my body to help make Bailey less scared of me(LOL).
Here is Hershey jumping right on it.

Bailey was a little more tentative.

But once he sniffed it a bit he felt right at home.
