A Giveaway, a Coupon, an Angel Tree, and some Mug Rugs

If you have not already been to Sew, Mama, Sews! Giveaways website check it out!  My giveaway for vintage Christmas fabric is here.

I am having a sale in my Etsy store:  Opus Designs.  20% of total order if you use this coupon code   DEC10 .

I showed you my hearth tree with the old fashion ornaments in a previous post.  This is my angel tree.

The dark blob on the left is Kalli-cat.  She wouldnt stay out of the pic.  The tree is in an old blue enamel basin.  An old plaid fabric woven with angels is wrapped around the bottom.  I cant bear to cut it!

My mom started a collection of ornaments for me as a child.  A zillion years later I had too many to put on my Christmas tree.  I noticed I had a lot of angel ornaments.

About half were gifts over the years starting with this first one a little brass girl with a bell and my name.

It was the first ornament I hung on the tree Christmas Eve before Santa decorated the tree while I slept.

The other half are these wonderful church bazaar ornaments.  I really miss the old style church bazaars.

I had a table to sell things at a Moravian church bazaar this year and found this creative angel.

Here is another vintage ornament from my grandmother and a tree topper.

I even have a quilt angel my mom found for me a dozen years ago.

I still have my rusty kitchen Christmas tree to put up.  I also havent gotten my real tree yet.  Too much sewing, and on that note I leave you with my finished mug rugs under the hearth tree.  They are gifts for my regular library volunteers who shelve, process books, and check out to students.  I made six in all.  Love my volunteers.
PS If you haven't sung my Mug Rug carol you can find it here.

Keep dreaming…Colleen

What a sweet tree. Oh, my gosh - the little bell angel is like the one I gave my daughter's 1st x-mas. I see some others there too. I am going to share your angel tree with my SIL - she collects angels and will just LOVE this. Season's Blessings

I remember going to the parade of the Three Wise Men in Barcelona, so exciting! Now my one year old is going to see them for the first time next month.
Thanks for the chance!
